PUBLICATION FEES AND WAIVER POLICY

 

The Journal of Modern Health and Rehabilitation Sciences (JMHRS) is an open-access journal that supports its publishing operations through modest publication fees. These fees cover editorial management, peer review, digital archiving, indexing, and the ongoing online availability of published content.

 

Article Processing Charges (APCs):

National Authors (Pakistan): PKR 10,000 per accepted article

International Authors: USD 150 per accepted article

 

⚠️ Note: Submission is free of charge. APCs are applied only after the final acceptance of the manuscript.

How do I pay APC? The author will receive an invoice and instructions after the letter of acceptance.

 

Waivers and Discounts

JMHRS is committed to supporting authors who may face financial constraints. Full or partial fee waivers may be granted to authors from low-income or resource-limited countries (as defined by the World Bank), early-career researchers or postgraduate students with limited funding, and in exceptional cases at the discretion of the editorial board. Waivers may also be considered for authors from the same institution or those experiencing financial difficulties. Requests for waivers should be submitted at the time of manuscript submission, accompanied by a brief justification.

Transparency and Ethics

Waiver requests are evaluated independently of editorial decisions to ensure fairness and impartiality. The ability to pay publication fees does not influence the acceptance or rejection of a manuscript.
