Manuscript Formatting
MANUSCRIPT FORMATTING GUIDELINES:
Language: Manuscripts must be in English, adhering to either British or American English standards consistently.
Font and Spacing: Use Times New Roman, size 12, justified alignment, with single line spacing. Structured heading of manuscript should be bold.
Tables and Figures: Should be inserted in their appropriate locations within the text, not appended at the end.
Manuscript Types and Requirements:
- Review Article: Up to 3500 words, excluding references.
- Original Article: Up to 2500 words, excluding a structured abstract (250 words max) and references (minimum 20).
- Case Report: Includes Abstract, Introduction, Case Report, Discussion, and Conclusion sections.
- Short Report/Special Communication: Up to 1250 words, an unstructured abstract (150 words max), up to two tables or figures, and no more than 10 references.
- Letters to the Editor:250 words for comments on recent articles (submitted within four weeks of publication) or 400 words for other cases, with no more than five references and one table or figure.
Abbreviations and Units: Use only standard abbreviations; introduce each at first mention followed by the abbreviation in parentheses. Well-known abbreviations may be used freely. Measurements should be reported in International System of Units (SI). Use generic drug names, with brand names in parentheses if necessary.
References: Cite all sources used in the manuscript in Vancouver style. Ensure all references are accurate and up to date and include all necessary details such as authors, title, journal name, volume, issue, pages, and DOI (if available).
Supplementary Materials: If applicable, may be submitted alongside the main manuscript.
